Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sun Yat-sen University, Young Yangtze River Scholar of the Ministry of Education, and Young Chief Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program. Currently, his research focuses on the role of RNA modifications in tumors and their targeted therapeutic strategies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Sun Yat-sen University and a Ph.D. from Hong Kong Baptist University.
As a project leader, he has presided over more than 10 research projects, including the Young Scientists Program of the National Key Research and Development Program, the Outstanding Youth Team Project of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (7 projects), and the Guangdong Outstanding Youth Fund, with a total competitive funding exceeding 20 million RMB.

In recent years, he has published over 70 SCI papers as a corresponding or first author in journals such as "National Science Review", "PNAS", "Nature Communications", "Nucleic Acids Research", and "Angewandte Chemie". The total impact factor of his corresponding and first-author papers exceeds 700, with 30 papers having an impact factor greater than 10. Three of his articles have been listed as ESI Highly Cited Papers. His work has been cited more than 7,000 times, with an h-index of 50. He has been recognized as one of the Top 100,000 Scientists Worldwide and included in the list of the Top 2% of Scientists Globally.
