从事儿科工作近20年，致力于小儿血液、肾脏、免疫性疾病的研究。熟练掌握儿科呼吸、消化系统常见病的诊治，擅长小儿贫血、血小板减少、地中海贫血、白血病等血液系统疾病诊治，对儿童反复呼吸道感染、过敏性紫癜、自身免疫性病以及小儿肾脏疾病的诊治积累了丰富的经验。
