北京大学医学博士，副主任医师，硕士生导师，老年病科（国家临床重点专科）副主任，老年病学专培基地教学主任，老年脏器康复中心主任。
从事心血管内科临床工作10余年，擅长高血压、高血脂、冠心病、心律失常和心力衰竭等心血管疾病的临床诊治与康复治疗，以及糖尿病、慢性阻塞性肺病、慢性肾脏病、骨质疏松和肌少症等老年慢性疾病的运动处方制定和康复治疗。
主持国家自然科学基金2项，省级科学基金5项；获得福建省医学科技三等奖1项(第1完成人)，厦门市科技进步三等奖1项(第1完成人)。担任国自然基金函审专家，the Metabolism and Translational Medicine (MTM)杂志编委，Front Cell Dev Biol、Curr Drug Targets、Pharm Biol 等杂志审稿人。
