通过ENU化学诱变或小分子随机突变等正向遗传学筛选技术发现并鉴定了多个调控斑马鱼髓系造血发育的新基因和小分子,建立了数种人类遗传性血液病的斑马鱼模型。
获各类国家自然科学基金12项,科技部973、863及重点研发课题各1项,广东省自然科学基金团队项目1项。
以通讯作者在Blood、Leukemia、elife、Development、JBC等SCI期刊发表论文30篇,合作作者发表SCI论文33篇,相关斑马鱼白血病模型专利授权4件。

He has successively established developmental biology research teams at Southern Medical University and South China University of Technology. His research focuses on hematopoietic development, disease modeling, and drug screening. Using forward genetic screening techniques such as ENU chemical mutagenesis and small-molecule random mutagenesis, he has discovered and identified multiple novel genes and small molecules regulating myeloid hematopoietic development in zebrafish. He has also established several zebrafish models for human hereditary blood diseases.
He has been awarded 12 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 project each under the Ministry of Science and Technology's 973 Program, 863 Program, and Key R&D Program, and 1 team project from the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation.
As a corresponding author, he has published 30 SCI papers in journals such as "Blood", "Leukemia", "eLife", "Development", and "Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC)". He has also co-authored 33 SCI papers. Additionally, he holds 4 authorized patents related to zebrafish leukemia models.
