宋尔卫


一级教授,中国科学院院士主任医师,研究员,博士生导师,现任中山大学孙逸仙纪念医院院长、乳腺肿瘤医学部学术带头人中山大学医学部主任

十三十四届全国人大代表、中国科学院院士、国务院特殊津贴专家、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者、美国中华医学基金会(CMB)杰出教授。中国临床肿瘤学会(CSCO)乳腺癌专家委员会主任委员。获第二届谈家桢生命科学创新奖、第十一届中国青年科技奖、何梁何利基金科学与技术创新奖;入选“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选;国家首批中青年科技创新领军人才及中组部第一批科技创新领军人才。

多年来坚持临床一线工作,是国内首批开展乳腺癌根治性保乳手术的外科医生之一,其主编的《乳腺癌保乳治疗》等论著为乳癌保乳治疗在全国推广提供了规范性的指引。在此基础上他结合临床进行应用基础和转化研究,尤其对肿瘤微环境和免疫治疗开展系统、深入的研究,取得了系列原创性学术成果,并提出肿瘤生态学说、肿瘤干细胞拟态学说及效应免疫细胞布控的新概念,奠定了肿瘤生态免疫治疗的理论基础。研究成果共计发表高水平论文165篇。研究成果被Science杂志评为2003年度全球十大科技进展,两次入选全国高校十大科技进展,并以第一完成人获国家自然科学二等奖,全国创新争先奖、何梁何利科学与技术创新奖、谈家桢生命科学成就奖、广东省科学技术突出贡献奖、全国五一劳动奖章、世界科学院医学科学奖等。

Professional Contributions:
For many years, he has been dedicated to clinical work and is one of the first surgeons in China to perform radical breast-conserving surgery for breast cancer. His edited works, such as *Breast-Conserving Therapy for Breast Cancer*, have provided standardized guidelines for the nationwide promotion of breast-conserving treatment. Building on this, he has conducted applied basic and translational research, particularly systematic and in-depth studies on the tumor microenvironment and immunotherapy. He has achieved a series of original academic results and proposed new concepts such as the "tumor ecosystem theory," "tumor stem cell mimicry theory," and "deployment of effector immune cells," laying the theoretical foundation for tumor ecological immunotherapy.

- Research results were recognized by *Science* magazine as one of the "Top 10 Scientific Breakthroughs of 2003";  
- Twice selected for the "Top 10 Scientific Advances in Chinese Universities";  
- As the first completer, awarded the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award;  
- Recipient of the National Innovation Excellence Award, Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation, Tan Jiazhen Life Science Achievement Award, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award, National May 1st Labor Medal, and World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) Prize in Medical Sciences.
