Currently serving as a Standing Committee Member of the Hemorrhagic Stroke Surgical Committee of the National Health Commission's Stroke Prevention and Treatment Expert Committee, Member of the Ischemic Stroke Surgical Committee of the National Health Commission's Stroke Prevention and Treatment Expert Committee, Member of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Committee Member of the Brain and Vascular Branch of the Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology, Chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Guangzhou Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association and Head of the Cerebrovascular Disease Group, Vice Chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association (First, Second, and Third Terms), and Expert on the Medical Accident Appraisal Committees of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City.
With over 30 years of experience in neurosurgical clinical practice, have accumulated extensive clinical expertise and refined microsurgical skills. Specialize in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of nervous system tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, and traumatic brain injuries. Over the past decade, have focused on the screening and surgical treatment of carotid artery stenosis, becoming one of the earliest and most prolific experts in carotid endarterectomy in Guangdong Province. Guided multiple hospitals in northern, eastern, and western Guangdong, as well as Guangzhou, in performing carotid endarterectomy. Have unique experience in intraoperative awake brain functional area surgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and neuronavigation-assisted brainstem tumor resection. Throughout my career, have independently completed over 3,000 complex and high-difficulty surgeries with significant efficacy, including complex aneurysm clipping, carotid endarterectomy, intracranial-extracranial vascular bypass, pituitary adenoma resection, acoustic neuroma resection, and brainstem tumor resection.
Published more than 50 papers in provincial and national academic journals, including 5 SCI-indexed articles, and have led multiple provincial-level research projects. Serve as an Editorial Board Member of the "Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases (Electronic Edition)" and a Peer Reviewer for the "Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases".
Awards include the 2019 Lingnan Distinguished Physician Award, the 2018 Hurun-Ping An China Good Doctor Award, and the 2015 Inaugural Yangcheng Good Doctor Award.
