广州市第一人民医院副院长，医学博士，教授、主任医师，博士生导师。
国家临床重点专科、广东省医学重点学科和广州市重点培育实验室的项目负责人，中华医学会消化病分会委员、中华医学会肝病分会委员、中国医师协会消化医师分会委员、广东省医学会消化病分会常委、广东省医师协会消化内镜分会副主委，《中华消化内镜杂志》、《中华肝脏病杂志》、《广东医学》、《胃肠病学和肝病学杂志》等杂志编委。
1998年和2003年分别到香港和美国研修深造。致力于胃肠病、肝胆胰及消化系肿瘤等疾病的基础与临床研究，带领消化科在国内最早开展了双气囊小肠镜，内镜下括约肌切开治疗婴儿先天性肥厚性幽门梗阻和贲门失弛缓症，主持内镜下诊治和多极射频消融治疗肿瘤等项目的开展。
近年，获卫生部及省、市各级科技进步奖8项，在国内外杂志发表论文100余篇（SCI收录40篇），已培养博士,硕士生30多人。2011年被评为广东省优秀共产党党员，2015年获广东省科技进步三等奖，2017年获广东省五一劳动奖章，2017年获“广东医院优秀管理干部”称号。

Furthered studies in Hong Kong in 1998 and in the United States in 2003. Dedicated to basic and clinical research on gastrointestinal diseases, hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, and digestive system tumors. Led the gastroenterology department to be the first in China to develop double-balloon enteroscopy, endoscopic sphincterotomy for the treatment of infant congenital hypertrophic pyloric obstruction and achalasia, and presided over the development of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment and multipolar radiofrequency ablation for tumors.
In recent years, has won 8 awards for scientific and technological progress from the Ministry of Health and various provincial and municipal levels, published over 100 papers in domestic and international journals (40 of which are SCI-indexed), and has trained more than 30 doctoral and master's students. Awarded the title of Outstanding Communist Party Member of Guangdong Province in 2011, won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province in 2015, received the Guangdong May 1st Labor Medal in 2017, and was honored as "Outstanding Management Cadre of Guangdong Hospitals" in 2017.
